As Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer of Wellington West Holdings Inc, Dennis is responsible for the enterprise-wide finance and operations functions of the organization and developing and implementing best practices to strengthen all aspects of Wellington West’s operating platform.
Dennis also runs our Wellington West private client division which comprises our full service brokerage, financial planning and asset management businesses. The private client division focuses on providing our investment advisors and their retail clients across Canada with innovative investment ideas.
Dennis is a chartered accountant with more than 15 years of diverse financial and senior management experience with both private and public companies in the financial services and healthcare industries.
Prior to joining Wellington West, Dennis was Executive Vice-President and Chief Operations Officer at Momentum Healthware where he had overall responsibility for operational and financial functions. Prior to Momentum, Dennis held various senior executive positions within Assante Corporation and its various subsidiaries, including: Vice President, Finance, Vice President, Wealth Management Services; and Chief Financial Officer. Assante was a public company acquired by CI Financial in 2003 that had grown to over 1,500 financial advisors with assets under administration in excess of $20 billion, including over $11 billion in their wealth management offering.
